Fine art photographer and psychoanalyst Lauri Robertson moved to Nantucket year ‘round from New Haven, CT in 2006. A street photographer in the 1970’s, in the past decade+ she’s turned her lens to the natural world; “It’s impossible not to be enchanted with the Nantucket landscape!”  More recently she’s had the opportunity to spend time in rural France, and has “fallen in love with Medieval stone”.

Lauri’s work has been featured in COLOR: For Collectors of Fine Photography, and artscope: New England’s Culture Magazine. She’s twice received the artist-patron photography award from The Artists’ Association of Nantucket, and has had a solo show at The Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA.  Prints from the exhibition are installed in the lobby of The Nantucket Cottage Hospital.

Lauri makes limited edition, archival pigment prints. She is represented on-island by The Gallery at Four India, and The Artists’ Association of Nantucket.
